Founding partners Eric Jay and Matt Jones
Matt Jones and Eric Jay formed STRUCT/RESTRUCT in 2008. Both grew up in Newton, Kansas, and have been friends since kindergarten. Eric moved to Lawrence with his family from Telluride, CO, where he designed custom residences, to join Matt in creating the design/build company. Matt has lived and worked in East Lawrence since 1996. Since the inception of the company, the STRUCT/RESTRUCT team has completed well over thirty projects, averaging nearly six per year, ranging from small-scale renovations to large.
Eric earned his degree in Architecture from Kansas State University and Matt earned his B.F.A. degree in Industrial Design from The University of Kansas.
